Film Midterm Submission

Once all the video clips and Audio where compiled I dragged them into Premiere where I Edited them into sequence using the story board as reference as the opening was filmed out of order. Once the video clips where placed in a rough sequence they I then began to cut out excess of the clips as most of most of the clips where the same action from different angle so to avoid having an awkward pause in the motion i cut the clips to where the motion was a frame or 2 in so it when it cuts to the clips it already in the motion continuing it. A black screen was added to the beginning and end. The one at the beginning was to because i wanted the film to start with the a soundbridge and give the illusion that the light turning on is what commence the film, The black screen at the end was to have the title be on it's own in most horror films the title is a slightly different font from the rest of the titles. Speaking about the titles I choose to highlight he essential title roles that that i could match up with visual queues such as the the SFX and and the bullet wound, the Sound design with the incidental music. The title were place in the a third of the frame that had open space and spanned for a average of  5 seconds on screen. However they may appear to be crammed al in the beginning of the opening but this was done intentionally as i notice that in the opening i researched the titles seem to slow down in frequency towards the end and therefore in mine i wanted to comment on that by having them abruptly end about half way through. The last thing done to the visuals wa an adjustment layer place over the footage that allowed for the contrast and color tone to be lowered. The audio was place to line where the sound effect where needed. The incidental music was began so when the the build up and fall lines up with Scout slamming the table. The dialogue was made to be the most predominant audio. This is the first cut of the film.
